This light baffle MOD is for Williams 1986 Pinbot pinball machine
It attaches to the backbox lighboard with 2 screws and separates the 5 individually controlled COLORED lamps used when Pinbot speaks
This baffle also blocks the light from the 2 #1251 flashers located above from illuminating the controlled lamp locations on the translite

I am not a big fan of mods or LEDs. With that said, I knew the backbox Pinbot speech lights needed something. The Knight Rider TV series had a better voice display on Kitt over 4 years before Pinbot was made! This machine needs a high tech 1980s look without bleeding light across the buttons printed on the glass.
Answer: an individual box for each light to blank out the light bleed! Brilliant! So simple and easy! Should have been on there from the factory!!! It comes with correct color LED bulbs… okay, we’ll see…
First I tried it with 47 bulbs… stunning!!!
Then I used the included LED bulbs…. Also stunning!!!
The wife, aka Wifebot, insisted on doing the obligatory blue-red Pinbot backglass LED lighting mod to go along with this light baffle, and that’s as far as the LEDs go in our machine. Admittedly, LEDs look good up there on some machines, if done right.
This baffle has baffled me on how good an idea it is! Highly recommended!!!
